Howard Rose begain his career as a cameraman in episodic television and feature films. His most rewarding influence was with academy award winning Director of Photography John Seale ACS ASC. They worked together on such noted features as "Rain Man" and "Dead Poets Society". Howard then turned to the advertising world working on commercials directed by David Fincher, Joe Pytka, Tony Scott and Gore Verbinski. He soon elevated himself to Director of Photography and shortly thereafter to Director. Howard signed on as a Commercial Director for Crossroads Films NY / CHI / LA. He has sinced helmed spots for advertising agencies and clients such as Draft FCB, DDB Needham, Grey Advertising, Y&R, Olgavy & Mather, Leo Burnett, Bates USA, Disney, Mattel, Spinmaster,  Jakks, MGA and Tomy Toys. Howard's background has afforded him a unique insight into the filmmaking process. His  dedication, passion and meticulous attention to detail can all be seen in his work, he is a true craftsman. Howard loves the collaboration that his work brings, his energy is infectious. Howard resides in Malibu with his wife Karen, son Sam and Golden Retriever Rocky.
